High School Laptop Initiative at RRHS

The RRISD School Board has agreed to fund a laptop initiative for all current freshmen at Round Rock High School and McNeil High School. Each of the freshmen will be assigned a laptop to use in class as well as at home starting January 15th, 2013.
A very important parent meeting was held on Wednesday, November 28, 2012, at 6:30 p.m. at the Round Rock High School Lecture Hall. Mrs. Nichols and the Instructional Technology Specialist Team set the stage and helped parents understand the future world for their RRHS students by demonstrating some of the new online tools that will be used in the classrooms. Mrs. Roberts explained the forms, FAQ's and guidelines for laptop procedures.
