9th Grade Students Receive Laptops At RRHS

After many months of planning, our students finally received their laptops this week! The distribution of the 1-to-1 laptops went extremely well. Ninth grade students came to the library during their World Geography classes and checked out their new laptops. Each student logged in and accessed their new Gmail accounts. Along with Google Apps for Education, our students will utilize various online resources such as:

Evernote, Edmodo, Turn-It-In, LiveMocha, Khan Academy and the RRISD LiveBinder.

The teachers and students are very excited to start this journey together. As we continue on this pilot, we promise to post LOTS of pictures of all the amazing things happening on our campus. Stay tuned in!
