Round Rock Edmodo

Round Rock teachers were recently trained on Edmodo, a safe social network for students that is described as "Facebook for school," but with features and protections that make the environment well-suited for teaching and learning.

Round Rock High School uses the Edmodo website (www.roundrockisd.edmodo.com) to make the digital curriculum easily accessible to students and to provide an environment that bridges what happens in the formal classroom with the time students spend oustside of class. Edmodo makes it easier for teachers to "blend learning" by providing access to digital curriculum materials such as quizzes, polls, videos, apps and educational games for students.
