Student Collaboration & Google Greatness in Sociology... Oh What a Wonderful Thing Indeed

RRHS Psychology and Sociology teacher, Ms. Linann Ward, recently asked the RRHS ITS team to come in and demonstrate Google Drive and Gmail to her 11th and 12th grade students. She told us, "They NEED to know the importance of collaboration/communication because we plan to do a lot of independent and group projects in my class. We were overjoyed with the news and the invite so off we went to work on our presentation for the kiddos.

Day of the Preso: It was a huge success and all students enjoyed the Google Ninja Tips and Tricks we demonstrated. We really love this part of our job!

When it was time for group work, we were pleased to hear Ms. Ward tell us how happy she was with the progress her class was making. Her students were all collaborating/communicating at such a higher level then she ever thought possible. This my friends... makes for Google greatness!

Recent group projects included students creating Google Slides and collaborating in real time to complete a Public Service Announcement.
