The RRHS Robotics team competed in the Capitol Area BEST (Boosting Engineering Science and Technology) competition in Dripping Springs ton November 1, 2014. They qualified for the semi-final round for the first time and then became the only RRISD team to qualify for the final round, finishing 4th in the finals. They would have finished 3rd but for a broken wire in the last match.
